Reach Out in Compelling New Ways With Your Stories

As part of a national demonstration project on communicating the values of the nonprofit world with the Independent Sector, The Nonprofit Partnership launched The Story Project audio version in April, 2007. By learning storytelling techniques and sharpening their marketing approach for different audiences, local agencies are creating and recording original stories that tell about their work in compelling ways. Over fifty stories have been produced on websites, CDs, telephone systems, and can be played in the media, in waiting rooms, and on car stereos, these stories have the capacity to revolutionize the way local organizations are reaching and educating their stakeholders. The next full day session of The Story Project is scheduled for July 27, 2011.

Through a partnership with ErieAlity TV and ID Video Productions, The Nonprofit Partnership is now extending its storytelling resources to the realm of video. ETV Founder Greg Schlueter will work with you to capture your agency's story in a video that can be placed on your website, on YouTube, or distributed on DVD to key stakeholders, telling your story in a visually compelling way. Recent video stories completed through this project include video campaigns for:

Bayfront Maritime Center

YMCA of Greater Erie

Barber National Institute

Erie Day School

Reading NOW Foundation

HANDS: Housing and Neighborhood Development Services

Visit Erie

The Regional Cancer Center

Children's Advocacy Center
