Governance and Management Training Sessions

A combined strong management team and nonprofit board of directors is an essential component to maintaining organizational effectiveness. Governance and management training sessions for nonprofit board members and agency staff provide educational opportunities regarding governance issues, nonprofit trends, and best practices. These sessions, presented several times per month, also offer opportunities to stay current with everything new in the fields of fund development, marketing, and community engagement Nonprofit Partnership member organizations are encouraged to use the Governance and Management Training Sessions as ongoing training for board and staff members. Tony Ross will present an overview of the governor’s proposed budget, and a panel of local respondents will examine the issues and implications from their points of view. HTML Basics will teach you what HTML is and how it is structured. This session will help make small/quick changes on the go easier by anyone.

3/22/2012 - Developing Online Surveys to Conduct Market Research - Learn how to use online surveys to get the feedback you need to succeed. You will learn best practices for conducting market research. How to plan your survey strategy and identify the target or sample group and survey tools and their applications.

3/28/2012 - Paid Search: Beyond Pay-Per-Click - Pay Per Click advertising allows advertisers to create keyword ad campaigns that immediately appear at the top of search engine results pages, social media sites and other marketplaces. This hands-on workshop will help you understand how to develop and implement a paid search strategy as well as how to integrate it into your overall marketing program and measure ROI.

In this session you will learn everything you need to know to create websites that search engines like, to drive and generate leads.
