Open Position Title: Museum Assistant(s)

Job Description & Duties: The expERIEnce Children’s Museum is now hiring three part-time Museum Assistants. One position is Monday-Friday, 12:30-5:30. The other two positions will have variable schedules, and require availability that includes 1-2 weekday shifts and 1-2 weekend (Saturday/Sunday) shifts each week. Primary responsibilities will include covering the museum front desk (admitting patrons, answering the phone, selling class and event registrations, ringing up items from the gift shop) and playing a central role in the daily operations of the museum (opening and/or closing, general cleaning, regular exhibit upkeep.) The ideal candidates are friendly and personable, and able to professionally navigate dealings with the general public. Some familiarity with computers is preferred. This is an excellent opportunity for college students interested in the nonprofit sector or early childhood education, as well as for retired education professionals.

Open Position Title: Education Assistant

Job Description & Duties: The ExpERIEnce Children's Museum is now hiring a part-time Education Assistant. In order to accommodate increased demand for our classes, field trips, and outreach programming, we are expanding our education team and seek to hire an Education Assistant for approximately 20 hours per week. The ideal candidate is either working toward or has completed a bachelor's degree in education, and a focus on or experience in early childhood education is greatly preferred. This position reports to the Education Coordinator and assists in all development and implementation of the museum's educational programming, both on and off site. The museum is committed to meeting state and national standards for early childhood education, and the ideal candidate will enthusiastically support our mission to enhance school readiness for children from birth to age nine. Open Position Title: Multisystemic Therapy (MST) Therapist

Job Description & Duties: All positions require that a current PA Child Abuse History Certification, PA Criminal Record Check and FBI Federal Criminal History be submitted prior to the first day of work.

The MST Therapist is responsible for the provision of in-home treatment services following the adherence principles established by the Multisytemic Therapy model. The therapist provides counseling to youth and their caregivers, develops appropriate treatment plans, implements and monitors treatment goals, and maintains files and reports on the progress of the assigned caseload. Also intervenes and provides immediate assistance in crisis situations.

MST Therapist qualifications include:
1. Masters degree in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work
2. 2 years experience in family/in-home therapy

Open Position Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

This is a part-time, 2nd shift position with some weekend hours. The LPN is responsible for medical service delivery to residential clients. This includes obtaining orders from physicians, monitoring care of clients during office visits, treating and triaging medical needs, updating medication administration records, auditing charts, and reviewing files for compliance with regulations.

LPN qualifications include:
Valid LPN license
Experience in behavioral health preferred

Must be reliable and work well independently

Open Position Title: Child Care Counselor

Open Position Title: On Call Staff
